WHO IS GERALD POH?
A former alumni of Chung Cheng High School (Main), Gerald graduated with a nett L1R5 of 2 points for his GCE 'O' levels.
Gerald's grades came in within the top 5% of the entire Singapore O level cohort and was therefore awarded a scholarship from MOE.
Gerald was then offered his first choice to continue his studies in Hwa Chong Junior College and pursue his scholarship.
Throughout Gerald's secondary school education, he was also his CCA's (Table Tennis) Captain from Secondary 1 to 4, while taking on leadership roles in class every year as well.
Other notable academic achievements Gerald has achieved include (but are not limited to):

What Is The Curriculum And Lesson Structure Like?

By following the weekly timetable as outlined in the official curriculum document, we will take 3-4 weeks on average to cover a topic.
This ensures you have enough time to master all fundamental concepts, gain full exposure to a huge variety of questions and build your confidence for every topic.
Every weekly session will be conducted in 3 phases.
Phase 1: Pre-Lesson
In this phase, you will be assigned specific videos and questions from A1 Math Academy's Online Learning Site to attempt over the week before the live classes.You will be notified through 3 channels: WhatsApp, Telegram and our Mobile App notifications about your work to be completed before the next live class.You are expected to complete the necessary pre-lesson work before attending the live session.The workload assigned is manageable and has taken into account your challenging workload from other subjects and commitments in school as well.
Phase 2: Live-Lesson
In this phase, you will attend our live classes conducted on Zoom Calls. You will be able to easily find the link to our calls in our Online Learning Site as well.In this 2-hour call, the first portion is dedicated to summarizing all fundamental concepts that you covered in the pre-lesson and all questions assigned as well.Once the first portion is completed, the second portion of the call is dedicated for our QNA sessions, where you will be able to address any misconceptions or questions you have directly with Gerald.
Phase 3: Post-Lesson
In this phase, you will be sent a post-lesson form to fill up your feedback and submit any further questions you have from the live-session.\You will also be notified about the upcoming week's pre-lesson work to be done before the next live-lesson.This cycles you back to Phase 1 where you will complete the pre-lesson assigned work before the next live-lesson.
When Are The Classes Held?
Lessons are held once every week, for a duration of 1.5 hours each.
Our Secondary 1 (G3/Express) Math Online Classes are held every Thursday, from 6:30pm-8pm.
Our Secondary 2 (G3/Express) Math Online Classes are held every Thursday, from 9pm-1030pm.
Our Secondary 3 (G3/Express) E-Math Online Classes are held every Friday, from 9pm-1030pm.
Our Secondary 3 (G3/Express) A-Math Online Classes are held every Saturday, from 8am-930am.
Our Secondary 4+5 (G3/Express) E-Math Online Classes are held every Saturday, from 8pm-930pm.
Our Secondary 4+5 (G3/Express) A-Math Online Classes are held every Sunday, from 630pm to 8pm.
All timings are fixed as mentioned above unless notified in advance about any changes to the timings.
Where Will The Classes Be Held?
All online classes will be held on Zoom recordings and will be recorded and uploaded into A1 Math Academy's Online Learning Portal in case you missed the live session.
You will also be whatsapped the Zoom like 30 mins before every single lesson.

Phase 3: Post-Lesson
In this phase, you will be sent a post-lesson form to fill up your feedback and submit any further questions you have from the live-session.You will also be notified about the upcoming week's pre-lesson work to be done before the next live-lesson.This cycles you back to Phase 1 where you will complete the pre-lesson assigned work before the next live-lesson.
