My name is Hrethekesh, though most people know me as Kesh.
I am a graduate from Bukit View Secondary School (BVSS).
I teach Lower Secondary Mathematics, focusing on helping students build strong foundations and confidence in the subject.
My motivation for teaching comes from a desire to help students enjoy and look forward to learning math, while also proving to myself and others that anything is possible with the right mindset and guidance, even when it comes to teaching and learning mathematics.
I teach through real-life examples to make concepts easier to understand, and by using engaging, well-structured questions that not only reinforce understanding but also push students to improve and reach the next level.

I also enjoy learning about different eye conditions and had the opportunity to intern as a student optometrist in my favourite city, Chongqing, China.

This mindset doesn't just apply to Mathematics, but to every aspect of life. I also hope to bring this same mindset into our lessons. Mathematics isn't just about getting the right answer, it's about having the courage to try, learning from mistakes, and building confidence one step at a time. I believe that every student can improve with practice, perseverance, and a little belief in themselves.
Outside of teaching, I also try to live by this philosophy by constantly trying new experiences. To me, life is a journey, and my goal is to leave with as few regrets as possible. I love travelling, exploring new places, and trying new sports. Even though I often complain about feeling scared or anxious, I always remind myself: "Never try, never know!"
