Hi! I'm Gerald but most actually know me as "that study guy on Tiktok".
In 2024, I started sharing my love for Studying and Mathematics through my Tiktok Platforms. ( @geraldstudies, @geraldacademics, @a1mathacademysecondary and @a1mathacademyjc)
Impacting more than 2 million views within just 1 year, I was certain that Education was my calling and that I wanted to contribute back to society.
Therefore I started A1 Math Academy, a place where any student would improve in Math as long as they trusted me and did their best.
Outside of teaching, I'm currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science and chasing higher highs in my fitness through participating in Marathons and hitting the gym regularly.
I look forward to meeting you and your child soon!

My name is Hrethekesh, though most people know me as Kesh.
I am a graduate from Bukit View Secondary School (BVSS).
I teach Lower Secondary Mathematics, focusing on helping students build strong foundations and confidence in the subject.
My motivation for teaching comes from a desire to help students enjoy and look forward to learning math, while also proving to myself and others that anything is possible with the right mindset and guidance, even when it comes to teaching and learning mathematics.
I teach through real-life examples to make concepts easier to understand, and by using engaging, well-structured questions that not only reinforce understanding but also push students to improve and reach the next level.
Hello! I'm Teacher Germaine, and I teach Lower Secondary Mathematics. 😊
My number one rule in class is that every student leaves with all their questions answered. I believe that everyone can do well in Math with the right guidance, so I strive to make every lesson fun, engaging, and easy to understand.
To me, as long as you are trying your best and improving with every lesson, that's already a huge win!
Outside of the A1 Math Academy classroom, I serve as the Head Karate Instructor at ONE Punggol, where I teach children from the age of six. I strive to instil discipline, perseverance, and confidence through karate, and I bring these same values into my Math classroom. I also enjoy learning about different eye conditions and had the opportunity to intern as a student optometrist in my favourite city, Chongqing, China.
With that, I can't wait to support you on your Math journey and celebrate every step of your progress.
Looking forward to seeing you in class!
Hello!! I'm Teacher Coline and I teach Upper Secondary Mathematics.
I like to think of Math as one giant puzzle rather than an intimidating subject. As you progress in your Math journey, you'll begin to see why you're learning concepts that may not seem useful at first.
Having spent time teaching lower primary students, I'm very used to hearing lots of "Why?" and "How?" questions and honestly, I love them! Curiosity is one of the best ways to learn and I hope you never stop asking questions, even in secondary school and above!!
Outside the classroom, you'll probably find me wandering around with my camera, photographing interesting buildings. I love noticing little details that most people walk past and I think that's exactly what Math is about too. Observing patterns, making connections and seeing things from a different perspective.
I can't wait to be part of your Math journey and hopefully convince you that Math isn't as scary as it's often made out to be. More importantly, I hope our lessons will be a place where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and even dropping by for a chat or a rant.
Hello! I’m Teacher Janice, and I teach Upper Secondary Mathematics.
I’ve always believed in the quote "Believe you can and you're halfway there." To me, the very first step in accomplishing anything, whether it's something small or something big, is believing in yourself first and everything else second. This mindset doesn't just apply to Mathematics, but to every aspect of life. I also hope to bring this same mindset into our lessons. Mathematics isn't just about getting the right answer, it's about having the courage to try, learning from mistakes, and building confidence one step at a time. I believe that every student can improve with practice, perseverance, and a little belief in themselves.
Outside of teaching, I also try to live by this philosophy by constantly trying new experiences. To me, life is a journey, and my goal is to leave with as few regrets as possible. I love travelling, exploring new places, and trying new sports. Even though I often complain about feeling scared or anxious, I always remind myself: "Never try, never know!"
I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of you. Don't ever be afraid to ask questions whether it's during class or after class, there's no such thing as a silly question. I'm always happy to help, so feel free to approach me anytime. See you in class, and let's make Mathematics a subject we can all grow to enjoy together!
Hi! I’m Lawrence, but most students know me as the @a1poaacademy.
My unique value as a tutor lies in bridging the gap between textbook theory and real-world application; having started my career in 1996, I bring nearly 30 years of corporate finance experience to every lesson.
For both students and parents, I don't just prepare students for O-Level or A-Level exams—I equip them with the high-level financial mindset needed to excel in their academic journey and thrive in the future global economy.
I look forward to meeting you and helping your child unlock their "A1 Power"!

Hi! I’m Airesly B. Moranta, but you can call me Ai (pronounced “I”).
I’m the Mathematics Operations Specialist at A1 Math, handling admin work, student inquiries, test question creation, and video editing. I previously taught math for three years, so I still get to apply my teaching experience in my role.
I joined A1 Math because I love being part of a team that makes math easier and more enjoyable for students. Even behind the scenes, it’s rewarding to know my work helps students succeed every day.
Fun fact: I can solve a Rubik’s Cube, love collecting small unique items, and recently started running, inspired by our founder, it’s been a fun way to challenge myself outside of work.

Hi! I’m Cherry Ann B. Dagdag, though most people call me Cherry.
At A1 Math Academy, I handle the essential operations - admin support, test creation, and video editing. As a teacher by profession and at heart, I design every resource with the hope that students will not only succeed but truly grow to love the subject.
Beyond my professional life, I am an avid traveler and nature lover. My faith and community are also very important to me, and I find great fulfillment in my service with Singles for Christ.
I’m so happy to be part of your student’s learning journey!
